Patsy Kitcher Walton
Texas Impressionist Painter

While living as a child on
an east Texas farm ,
I became aware of God's great creation.
My interest in art began simply
by drawing in the sand with a stick.
I was hooked.
On that farm my love affair
with nature began -
With the farm animals, the flowers,
the cotton bolls, the woods, and creeks.
I was captivated by the simple majesty of it all.
"I have enjoyed experimenting with different styles of painting, but
I mesh the best with a painterly approach,
in which the paint and colors are celebrated.
The brushstrokes are not only visible,
but intrinsic to the success of the piece.
If by viewing my paintings,
you are inspired to discover and create
more beauty in your life,
then that will be the icing on the cake for me."
It has been my delight to study with
many wonderful artists,
including
Dreama Tolle Perry,
George Hallmark,
Qiang Huang,
Scott Myers,
Betty Carr,
Gini Bosco,
Kathy Tate,
Ceci Turner,
and Judi Betts.
My paintings have found new homes
in private residences as well as commercial spaces
from California to Texas to New York.
